Red Sea Challenge is Cancelled
The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and Volleyball World have both confirmed that the organizers of the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Challenge in Red Sea, Egypt, have decided to cancel the event. They cited localized developments in Egypt around the United Nations Climate Change Conference as the reason for their decision to cancel the event.
Incredible events on the Beach Pro Tour calendar are still scheduled through the end of 2022.
The FIVB and Volleyball World feel the disappointment of the athletes and fans, but they are looking forward to the incredible action that will take place on the Beach Pro Tour in the future.
When the tour stops in Torquay, Australia on the 23rd to the 27th of November and on the 29th to the 3rd of December, respectively, the final Challenge and Elite16 competitions of the season will be held there. The month of December will see competitions for the Beach Pro Tour Future take place in both the Philippines and the Netherlands.
The first season of the Beach Pro Tour continues to amaze fans all over the world, and it will reach its climax with the Beach Pro Tour Finals, which will take place in Doha, Qatar, between the 26th and the 29th of January 2023.
